Donate Your Bike
Donate your old bike(s) to the Boys & Girls Club Bike Exchange, help families and kids in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania get a bike, and receive a tax deduction in the process Bring your bike to the Bike Exchange at Capitol Plaza Shopping Center, 1500 N Olden Avenue in Ewing, NJ any Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Click Location for a map of the Exchange's shop. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes when you drop off your bike.
If coming to the Exchange in Ewing on Saturdays does not work for you, FASTSIGNS at 2901 Route 1 (southbound lane) in Lawrenceville accepts bikes for the Exchange. FASTSIGNS is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed Saturday and Sunday.
If the Bike Exchange in Ewing and FASTSIGNS in Lawrenceville are not convenient, the local bike shops shown on the "Our Sponsors" link on this website accept bikes for the Bike Exchange. The Bike Exchange prefers that bikes be taken to the Exchange's shop in Ewing on Saturdays, or Fast Signs on US 1 in Lawrenceville, Monday- Friday, because of the time required for our volunteers to transport bikes from the many participating bike shops to the Exchange's shop in Ewing.
The Exchange also accepts bikes for consignment that are in good condition with no rust, and that have a current market value exceeding $200. Bikes to be considered for consignment must be brougt to the Exchange's shop during normal business hours....Thursdays between 5 and 8 and Saturdays between 10 and 5. Proceeds from the sale of consigned bikes is split 50/50 between the owner of the bike and the Trenton Boys & Girls Club.
